Agreement between Borges International Group and the Barcelona School of Hospitality

Borges International Group and the Escola Superior d’Hostaleria de Barcelona have signed a collaboration and sponsorship agreement.

The agreement, signed last January, consists of a mutual collaboration for the use of Borges products by ESHOB students. In this manner, Borges is joining in with efforts to train future hospitality sector professionals.

The hospitality students will work with Borges products and develop lines of R&D, seeking to make the best use of them. Borges International Group will benefit from the culinary know-how of ESHOB in order to apply it to the world of business and find shared solutions to the demands of business clients.

With this agreement, ESHOB’s facilities and classrooms will also be useful for providing training classes and demonstrating how various products can be used in ‘show cooking’ to Borges’ trade clients.

ESHOB was created in 1985 on the initiative of the Barcelona Restoration Guild and the Barcelona Hotels Guild, and offers training programmes at all levels, both intermediate and advanced professional courses and university courses. The school enjoys the collaboration of businesses, teachers, guest professors and leaders in the field, and many outstanding hospitality and hotel professionals have been trained in its classrooms, such as José Andrés, Sergi Arola, Antonio Sáez, Carles Aymerich, Carles Abellán, Pere Monje, Quim Marqués, Alfred Romagosa and Joan Junyent, among others.
