Borges International Group donates 15,000 liters of oil

Borges International Group and its employees have donated 15,000 liters of oil to the Bank of Food. The oil, along with legumes, milk and cans, is one of the most demanded products of first necessity. All oil bottles donated by Borges will be produced especially for the occasion and will have a special label that identifies as solidary product.

The donation took place at the headquarters of the Food Bank Foundation of Catalonia. The event was attended by Mr. Ramon Pont, president of Borges International Group, accompanied by Mr. Juan Ramón Saura, President of the Bank of Lleida and the Catalan Federation of Food Banks, and Ms. Roser Brutau, Vice President of the Bank of Food, Barcelona.

This donation strengthens the relationship and commitment Borges International Group with Food Banks. In 2010 the Company also made a large donation of oil and collaborated on 2012 in the online campaign “1 like = 1 kilo” for the collection of food for the “Great Gathering”.

In this sense, over the years Borges International Group has received several awards for his work: the Atlante Prize fot the Prevention of Occupational Risks (2014) or FIDEM 2014 Awards with the Award for Conciliation, or the Equality Company Distinctive , awarded by the Ministry of Health, Social Politics and Equality (2010 and 2011), as well as the recent award to a Healthy Work Environment in its 1st edition
